3D Lava Lamp

Project: Introduction to 3d Modelling
Course: Foundation Degree in Creative Multimedia

This project was to model and texture a realistic looking object, which then had to be animated. I decided to model a lava lamp, as this was my first real attempt and modelling something, other than the spaceship workshop, I feel that it was quite successful.  The textures may not be perfect, but the animation looks quite realistic.

Also as part of this project we had to do a short frame by frame 2D animation, for which I animated the lava, from inside the lamp.
